The North Carolina Retirement Systems (NCRS) is a division of the Department of State Treasurer. NCRS administer the pension benefits for state and local government employees.
NCRS also administers the NC 401(k) and NC 457 Plans. These supplemental retirement savings accounts are designed to help public employees in North Carolina achieve their retirement goals.
